Don’t go here at around 5-7PM because this is the time when a lot of mosquitoes come out to feast. We went here at this time and it was bad timing because given that the place provides outdoor seating and has a lot of plants and soil around, it was really uncomfortable to be feasted on by mosquitos while having your coffee and chitchatting with friends. Anyhow, their batirol and coffee were good. The ambience and atmosphere were just not so good if you visit late in the afternoon to evening.

(check out the vids and images) the place is soooo solemn and truly relaxing! good thing that we went here is not crowded, Saturday morning (around 9:30am or 10am) parking space - side walk parking only i do love how they come up with their theme, and on how everything is well-established. they have a bonfire in the middle that they set up at night. food: spanish latte is nice. 8/10 tsokalate de batirol - it's a so-so. 6/10 Choco Cream - not too sweet, just right 7/10 Kiniing Pasta - hmm hard to describe but we gave it a 6/10 you can check out their menus from their site or from the vid here. anyways, this would be a place that we'll surely re-visit.

I really like the ambiance of the place and perfect for those looking for a quiet time. I ordered the kiniing pasta and ube latte and it’s good so far. Transpo is quite difficult since it is far from public transpo. Arrived there by taxi but getting out is a challenge. I was unable to book a grab from the cafe :( I had no choice but to walk up (tiring! And you may slip!) to the main road (10-15mins max). I walked while it was raining and it was a risk for me but it was getting dark. So if you are commuting there, best not to go when it’s raining. Tip: best to go with your car but limited parking.

The place is a bit away from downtown… can be tricky to find, but that’s alright. We arrived just in time for their opening so we were early and so we had the place for ourselves. Very al fresco, well maintained place. They just opened so we understand the food took a little long. The food served was plateful specially their pasta. Good enough for 2-3 pax. I wish the coffee was really hot though. Unfortunately that’s how it is sometimes with the expresso/coffee maker machines, barely hot drinks… not a lot of food choices limit expectations, they have rice meals, pasta, cold and hot drinks. Price is a little high compared to other cafe but you’re also paying for the ambiance. Nice experience, a high chance to go back.

I recently visited this charming cafe just a few minutes' drive from Burnham Park. Nestled between hills, the location offers a serene and relaxing atmosphere. While easy to find, the steep stairs leading to the entrance might pose a challenge for those with mobility issues. I tried the ube latte and batirol, both of which were delightful. I particularly appreciated how the sweetener for the batirol was served separately, allowing me to adjust the sweetness to my preference. The cafe also boasts a beautiful selection of plants, some of which are available for purchase. If you're looking for a quiet spot to unwind, I highly recommend this place.
